Week 10

Hola, bendiciones!!!! I did a whoopsie and forgot to press send on the email from last week... so I gotta send 2 this week hehe (sorry mum).  Any who, this week was buenísimo!! We are seeing a lot of success and progression with our people!!! I'm learning to be humble in ways I didn't know you had to be and because of that me and my comp are absolutely grinding out powerful, personal lessons (also I CAN FREAKING SPEAK SPANISH KINDA). We have 33 people we're teaching, and they are all ready to progress... we just don't have enough time haha. Hard work pays off; the lord loves effort!!! Sooooo, for all the missionaries reading this, I apologize in advance. Me and my BOI elder martin downstairs decided because our AC died and it's freaking hot at night, we were gonna move our mattresses outside and sleep on the roof (elders, obedience is key). It was a great night and I'm learning to open up about things, but we did get in a wee bit of trouble. (No regrets hehe). B...

Week 9

Bendiciones!!!  This week was hard. But that's good because through hard times, strong testimonies are born .  First: Gage an hermana from my CCM district was dissing on the glorious pink shark tie (You know who you are).  Not too much happened this week, we were super busy with teaching and scheduling because I believe we have about 20 people in teaching.   I FOUND A COCONUT. A real one with water inside!!!!! So, we then proceeded to take the rest of our Monday trying to break into this coconut. Wasn't that good so we used a cheese grader to grind it up and make pancakes   I was able to teach my first like 4 full lessons! Some were a lil rough but we were able to bring the spirit in and get the message out. In the first one I made the mistake of making it a competition and all the kids just ended up fighting so that wasn't very... spiritual. We saved it though.  This week I've learned and seen the difference between knowing something and h...

Week 8

Bendiciones!! This was very much a "cos" week for me. (For those who don't like math, cos or  co-sin, when graphed is a line that curves from high to low to high).  But before I explain why I used a really bad math joke to describe my week, just like an old friend of mine (you know who you are), funny stories:  - everyone was drunk Saturday night. Like really drunk. After finding a really cool family we saw a massive crowd of ppl and naturally we said heck nah. But then a bunch of kids we are teaching called us over so we went to take a look. Turns out, a man that was knocked out drunk tried to ride his bike and crashed very hard. His shin was broken and was actually snapped, and you could see the bones broken. So, my comp, being the awesomely faithfully man that he is, asked for my oil and gives this guy a blessing of healing. (This is in front of like 50 ppl btw) After the blessing the man stopped yelling in pain and even tried to stand up lol. He's in the hospit...

Week 7

Bendiciones!!!!! I love México! This week has been incredible and I know that's like every week but I mean it fr this time. Probably my lowest and highest moments were this week. Oh also, if y'all had me on messenger I don't have that anymore cuz prez said nah but if you wanna shoot me a message through email that's totally fine :). First of all, gotta give a shout out to my boy Elder Watson, hommie gave me a razor in the CCM and it has been saving my life out here.  If you know anything about bikes go look at the picture of the red one, specifically the frame. (Focus on the rear shock). I got crazy sick Monday and couldn't leave bed for two days which SUCKED because we had 4 baptisms set for this week, 2 for next and about 2 other friends that are ready to be given a fecha so there was a lot of work to be done... and I was asleep for like 38 hours straight according to my wonderful comp lol. He's actually awesome, I couldn't eat the food out here for a wh...
