Week 9
Bendiciones!!!
This week was hard. But that's good because through hard times, strong testimonies are born
.

. First: Gage an hermana from my CCM district was dissing on the glorious pink shark tie (You know who you are).
Not too much happened this week, we were super busy with teaching and scheduling because I believe we have about 20 people in teaching.
I FOUND A COCONUT. A real one with water inside!!!!! So, we then proceeded to take the rest of our Monday trying to break into this coconut. Wasn't that good so we used a cheese grader to grind it up and make pancakes

I was able to teach my first like 4 full lessons! Some were a lil rough but we were able to bring the spirit in and get the message out. In the first one I made the mistake of making it a competition and all the kids just ended up fighting so that wasn't very... spiritual. We saved it though.
This week I've learned and seen the difference between knowing something and having a testimony of something. For example, EVERYONE here believes in God, but very few people actually have a testimony of him. Not having a testimony deprives us of true spiritual growth and happiness. Growing up I always knew that God was real and that Jesus Christ saved us from sin because, well, it made sense. Because of this I thought I had a testimony. Boy, was I wrong. I had never actually put in the work and the time to grow my faith and beliefs. You can imagine the shock and confusion I had when all of a sudden, I didn't know what I believed. Through this I learned the importance of strengthening our testimonies. We have been told that this is not a stagnant gospel. If we are not progressing, we are digressing. It is vital in this life to always grow and develop our testimonies because the moment we think we have all we need is the moment we lose all we thought we had. I implore y'all, as I had to do, study what you really believe in. Spend time with the lord and the words of his prophets with the question of what you actually know to be true, and I can promise you will find where you lack. Take that to the lord, and he will help you grow.
I am a solemn witness of this and many more things, but I can now testify at anytime, anywhere, to anyone and I know my Savior and redeemer is Jesus Christ. I know our father in heaven has a plan for us and I know without a doubt in my heart that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has the only true and complete gospel of Jesus Christ.
