  Graham LaBass 1:21 PM (11 minutes ago) to me Alright y’all,  Time home has its ups and downs lol like everything…. Im starting to see a pattern… Service wise im now a fully fledged and committed temple worker thanks to my dad, I am currently preparing to help build WWII fighter plane wings and im also helping to maintain wings that still work. The food pantry is great, not really my favorite thing but there’s always more options. And I’ve been helping my dad restore some old surfboards. Needless to say im having a blast but at the same time I can still feel this looming darkness that has a hold of my lower torso. It’s still difficult to pray and study but we are growing chawi chawi.  I know this one’s just for the books as well cuz I’m not exactly ready to start sending them out, so here to future me and hopefully only me (maybe wify if she needs), right now im in the pit of despair, consumed by the refiners fire. Week 37

  Hello there This week was good, had its ups and downs. Did not get high this week lol. Started all the stuff like the food pantry, that was actually kinda fun, got to use my Spanish a lot. Got set apart as a temple worker which is super dope, I have a lot of fun working as a baptismal person.  Went surfing with gage and didn’t catch a single wave but it’s chill cuz we gonna go again and get back lol.  I’m ok, working through a lot, not sure how much therapy is actually helping but we getting there. I wanna move faster so I can get on with my life but idk it is what it is. Just trying to stay active, happy and busy. Cya next week  Elder LaBass

Week 34-36

Alr this one's only for the books. Life is crazy.  Life kinda sucks too lowky. I'm finally getting my rib fixed so I couldn't do anything fun for a week straight which SUCKED but it's cool cuz we just binge watched avatar. I've been surfing a couple of times and it's safe to say I still suck be we getting there. the first time was weird, we went to Ventura harbor on a super chop sticks day and ofc there was a random 7 foot set every now and then. next couple of times were fun, little bit of county and Leo.  I've literally been doing nothing, hopped on the piano grinde for a sec then Asher gave me his car and bought burgundy betty so I learned to drive stick.... finally. we went up to snow summit yesterday and sent some crazy big jumps. I was kinda still hungover so it took a sec to wake up but after then we sent every huge jump in the park.  speaking of being hungover... I got high... SUPER high. Week 32-33-HOME

     Alright y'all this one's gonna be a doozy, This week has been possibly the worst week of my life. I have never been tried and tested as much as I have these past couple of days. I have always known that God has a perfect plan for all of his children and that includes me and my family. Something I learned is that his plan will always include something we must overcome in order to become the people God needs us to be. I have been very sick on the mission, for a long time now. I pushed through until it became evident that I need help and correct medical attention. ....... so, with that being said, as much as it pains me to say this, I have been sent home to continue for a time of healing, as a service missionary.  I will do what it takes to heal and then my hope is to get back out ASAP.          My mission prez is awesome. I've gained a new respect for the leaders of our church and the way they can receive spiritual revelation. Th...

Week 31

  What's up guys, once again, another glorious p-day.... These things are starting to come super fast lol.  This week was great!! We are officially in some of the hottest weather of the year and santa vaca its hot.   I found green power-aid and this stuff is good. Perfect for fetching walking around in a FIRE. Too bad the tienda lady wasn't as cool and didnt wanna talk to us :( I went to 2 different areas this week on intercambios and one was with my absolute DAWG elder bird from the ccm. We had a lot of fun. And the other was with our zone leaders and all we did was play volleyball, soccer and help build a house lol. We have someone in teaching who wants to get baptized. When we first met Ezekiel he wasn't sure if God existed but now he's reading the scriptures and praying every night. The problem is that every Sunday SOMETHING happens and he doesn't come to church. Week 29-30

 Bendiciones a todo, que dice la buena vida. Aqui estamos otra vez with yet another glorious p-day.       These past two weeks have been pretty crazy, we had transfers and a bunch of miracles with the people we are teaching!! CRAZY MIRACLE!!! There is a family who had been miembros for more than 18 years. Only problem is that the husband had been receiving the missionaries for 18 years but refused to get baptized. Thanks to thousands of small spiritual experiences and small pushes from family, friends, missionaries and members, Hermano Fulgencio was ready to receive his first covenant with God. This moment changed me completely as I saw a family who had been broken for so many years gather together in a group hug centered on God. Family is one of the key parts of God's plan.  Whats up guys, sun is burning, we working, and THE SURF IS PUMPIN        Super calm week not, too many highlights besides CONFERENCE WHICH WAS FIRE!!! (Every 6 months the leaders of the church give talks and dirección we believe to be directly from God for us)      Some members gave me a plant to take care of... for some reason.... cuz I have time for that... he is the cousin of the famous and probably long dead plant Cosmo.     This week was a little rough, we are working a lot but really no one is accepting the gospel enough to come to church but WE STILL GETTIN AT IT!!!!!       I found a super cool type of jet ski in some random person's house. This type is used to tow surfers into waves that are literally too big to surf normally, super sick!        It is now mango season!!
