Alright y’all, 

Time home has its ups and downs lol like everything…. Im starting to see a pattern…

Service wise im now a fully fledged and committed temple worker thanks to my dad, I am currently preparing to help build WWII fighter plane wings and im also helping to maintain wings that still work. The food pantry is great, not really my favorite thing but there’s always more options. And I’ve been helping my dad restore some old surfboards.

Needless to say im having a blast but at the same time I can still feel this looming darkness that has a hold of my lower torso. It’s still difficult to pray and study but we are growing chawi chawi. 

I know this one’s just for the books as well cuz I’m not exactly ready to start sending them out, so here to future me and hopefully only me (maybe wify if she needs), right now im in the pit of despair, consumed by the refiners fire. Everyday is a struggle but at the same time I can feel my wounds, old and new, healing. It’s interesting how we can learn from the past while at the same time letting it go. Although, the pain from the past is all I’ve ever known so there’s no letting go here. If you figured it out by now, great, if not, keep going. I didn’t give up here so you have no right to there. If your dying, go surfing, if your dead, go home. Notice how I didn’t say turn to god. Reason being is that we need to have been turned to god long before we started to die.

Week 6 from Oaxaca

  Bendiciones!!!!!  This week has easily been the hardest week yet. Saying goodbye to the CCM family was crazy difficult but I'm so happy that we are all in field now!  The last night at the CCM our flight was set for 2AM... who does that... it's a 1 hour flight... Why 2am? So no one slept at all, we all just stayed up talking and playing cards. Once we got to Oaxaca we all crashed in a hotel and slept for four hours.  Currently I am in Juchitán, Xochixlon 3 area! This place is crazy because all non-member adults are the laziest people ever, but the niños... they are so awesome!! We have about 7 people on date for next week right now (2 of which were placed by us) and they are all under 15... nice. These kids are awesome, we will be sitting on the street teaching on and then all of a sudden 7 more pull up out of nowhere and listen in. It's so awesome how strong these kids' spirits are. Week 29-30

 Bendiciones a todo, que dice la buena vida. Aqui estamos otra vez with yet another glorious p-day.       These past two weeks have been pretty crazy, we had transfers and a bunch of miracles with the people we are teaching!! CRAZY MIRACLE!!! There is a family who had been miembros for more than 18 years. Only problem is that the husband had been receiving the missionaries for 18 years but refused to get baptized. Thanks to thousands of small spiritual experiences and small pushes from family, friends, missionaries and members, Hermano Fulgencio was ready to receive his first covenant with God. This moment changed me completely as I saw a family who had been broken for so many years gather together in a group hug centered on God. Family is one of the key parts of God's plan. Week 32-33-HOME

     Alright y'all this one's gonna be a doozy, This week has been possibly the worst week of my life. I have never been tried and tested as much as I have these past couple of days. I have always known that God has a perfect plan for all of his children and that includes me and my family. Something I learned is that his plan will always include something we must overcome in order to become the people God needs us to be. I have been very sick on the mission, for a long time now. I pushed through until it became evident that I need help and correct medical attention. ....... so, with that being said, as much as it pains me to say this, I have been sent home to continue for a time of healing, as a service missionary.  I will do what it takes to heal and then my hope is to get back out ASAP.          My mission prez is awesome.
