Week 13
Bendiciones!!!
This week was incredible, but I lowkey don't have a lot of time to type this email so I'ma tell it through pictures mostly. Sorry for the late email, our pday has been changed for Christmas.
We started last week great, we had 2 people with baptismal dates, and I gave one of them a tie from my dad. Those that know my dad know that this is very appropriate because my dad will literally give you the suit off of his back if you needed it. We also placed like 2 more dates and one, whose name is Max, is extremely happy to be making his first covenant with God! I'm also realizing that I do the same pose for every picture, so I need to change that. Anyways...
People here love giving us food, it's awesome! One hermana made us the best pizza I've ever had (besides my mum's ofc)
We had a couple days off to travel to the city (super sad) for my comps medicine, and I bought a super sick hot wheels Lego set lol. Also had McDonalds for the first time in like 3 months, so good, I don't care what y'all say, McDonalds is incredible.
At the beginning of this week, we baptized the two fechas and it was so incredible, I love both of these people so much. It's also incredible because they both specifically requested I baptize them, such a humbling experience.
God gives us power when we turn to him. Focusing on Christ's life this week has reminded me that the "hardest thing ever done, greatest pain ever known, biggest battle ever won, this was done by Jesus" for you. He loved you so much that the simple thought of us living again with him, allowed him to conquer death and sin. At times its hard, impossible even to comprehend this sacrifice. Using the words of Elder Holland, "when your faith fails you and your testimony wavers, I invite you to lean on mine." I know, with every bone in my body, Jesus is our savior. I have never seen him in the flesh, but I have seen and experienced things in the past three months that demonstrate and confirm the existence of heaven, our savior, and our loving heavenly father. So, without a doubt I declare this truth to the world, turn to Christ and you will be saved.
Love you guys!
