HOME MTC

  Hola!!!

First week and a half of Home MTC (missionary training center for those that don't speak LDS yet) is finally over! It's been an absolutely crazy couple of days! It was a little hard to stay awake sometimes (thank goodness for breaks) but I've learned so much already. I woke up early on the first day to study and I was able to memorize a prayer in Spanish. So when I was called on to give the first opening prayer of the first day and I did it in Spanish my whole district started to panic because they thought they had to be able to speak already haha lo siento. During a few of our zoom calls our instructor's computer died and zoom made me the host every time so I had all the power. My boy Elder Moberly left yesterday so me and the boys got together one last time for the next 2-3 years, not sad at all because we are all serving missions!!!! ALSO, I'm 19 now :) My parents got me this super cool BOM that's both English and Spanish(and an awesome cheesecake). We also got some beautiful ties, my personal favorites are the pink shark tie (thanks Gage), the lego tie (your welcome Ben) and the plan of salvation tie (space tie). So excited to get to Mexico tomorrow!

I absolutely love this gospel and while I'm not perfect in study habits I've already gained a stronger testimony of our loving redeemer Jesus Christ and our Father in heaven. I've seen his hand so many times in my life just this week and I know this gospel is true because of it. I can bear witness and testimony that no matter how hard something seems, God giveth no commandment, trial or task that we can't do unless he provides a way for us to do it. (1 Nephi 3:7).
